This Privacy Policy explains how Movement 101 Pty Ltd (ABN 86 602 227 403) trading as Like Fred (formerly Pilates 101) ("Like Fred", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal information. It applies to this website (likefred.com.au), our studios, and our classes, bookings and communications.
We are committed to handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). By using our website or services, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
We collect the personal information we need to provide our classes and run our studios safely, including:
- Contact details: your name, email address, phone number and postcode.
- Booking and membership information: the classes, packs and memberships you buy, your attendance and class history.
- Health information: relevant injuries, pregnancy or pre- and post-natal status, and other conditions you choose to share so we can keep you safe and tailor your practice. Health information is "sensitive information" and we only collect it with your consent and use it only for that purpose.
- Payment information: processed securely by our booking provider, Momence. We do not store your full card details on our systems.
- Enquiry information: anything you include when you contact us through the website form, by email or on social media.
- Website and device information: basic analytics such as pages visited, approximate location, browser and device type, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
How we collect it
We collect personal information directly from you: when you book or buy through Momence, fill in a form, sign a waiver, email us, or visit a studio. We also collect some information automatically through our website, and occasionally from third parties such as our booking platform where you have dealt with them in connection with our services.
Why we use your information
- To take and manage your bookings, packs and memberships, and process payments.
- To deliver classes safely and adapt them to your needs.
- To communicate with you about your bookings, account, schedule changes and studio updates.
- To send you marketing about classes, offers and events where you have opted in (you can opt out at any time).
- To improve our website, services and customer experience.
- To meet our legal, insurance and safety obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our services, including with:
- Momence: our booking, scheduling and payments provider, which processes your bookings and payments.
- Form and email providers: the services we use to receive enquiries and send communications.
- Professional advisers and service providers: such as IT, accounting and insurance providers, bound by confidentiality.
- Authorities: where required or authorised by law.
Payments
Payments are handled by Momence through its secure checkout. Your card data is collected and stored by Momence under its own privacy and security terms, not by Like Fred.
Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers (including Momence) may store or process data on servers located outside Australia. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the APPs.
