The terms for using this website and for booking classes, memberships and packs with Like Fred.

These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the Like Fred website (likefred.com.au) and to the classes, memberships and class packs offered by Movement 101 Pty Ltd (ABN 86 602 227 403) trading as Like Fred (formerly Pilates 101) ("Like Fred", "we", "us" or "our"). By using our website or booking with us, you agree to these terms.

1. Using this website

This website is provided for general information about our studios, classes and pricing. We try to keep it accurate and up to date, but content (including timetables and prices) may change without notice. The website is provided "as is", and we may update, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time.

2. Bookings and payments

Classes, memberships and packs are booked and paid for through our booking provider, Momence. When you book, you also agree to Momence's terms and privacy policy. Your booking is confirmed once payment is processed. All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and, unless stated otherwise, include GST where applicable.

3. Newbie offers

Newbie offers are available to new members only, one per person, and cannot be combined with other offers.

4. Memberships

  • Weekly memberships are paid by recurring direct debit through Momence until cancelled.
  • Memberships have a 12-week minimum contract, after which there is no fixed lock-in contract. You can cancel anytime, subject to the notice required at sign-up.
  • You may pause (freeze) your membership for up to 4 weeks per calendar year.
  • Unlimited memberships are for personal use only and cannot be shared or transferred.

5. Class packs

Class packs are valid for a set period from the date of first use. Packs are non-refundable and cannot be frozen, and any unused classes expire at the end of the validity period.

6. Cancellations, late cancellations and no-shows

  • Please give at least 12 hours' notice to cancel a booking and keep your class credit.
  • Late cancellations (less than 12 hours' notice) and no-shows forfeit the class credit. No exceptions will be made.
  • On unlimited memberships, a $15 charge will apply with late cancellation or no-show. No exceptions will be made.
  • Entry closes 5 minutes after a class begins, so please arrive early to set up.

7. Health, safety and your responsibilities

Pilates is physical exercise. By attending, you confirm you are participating voluntarily and are responsible for exercising within your own limits. You agree to:

  • Tell us about any injuries, medical conditions, or pregnancy (including pre- and post-natal status) before class, and seek medical advice where appropriate.
  • Follow your teacher's directions and use the equipment as instructed.
  • Stop and tell your teacher if you feel unwell or experience pain.

8. Assumption of risk and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you take part in classes at your own risk, and we are not liable for any injury, loss or damage except where it cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Studio conduct

We want every studio to feel welcoming and safe. We may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone behaving unsafely, disruptively or disrespectfully toward staff or other members, without refund.

10. Changes to classes and schedule

We may change, substitute or cancel classes, teachers or timetables from time to time. If we cancel a class you have booked, you will be able to rebook or have the credit returned to your account.

11. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including the Like Fred name, logo, text, images and design, is owned by or licensed to us and may not be copied or used without our written permission.

12. Privacy

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the "last updated" date shown above. Continued use of our website or services means you accept the updated terms.
